Fatemeh Habibi’s research fields are electromagnetics and scattering. Investigating Mie theory in the sub-wavelength and non-resonance regime, where electric and magnetic dipoles show weak scattering, for small spheres to determine their patterns of scattering and properties of the obstacle under test based on physics. This investigation in microwave requires special designed measurement setup to capture the scattering properties. Furthermore, she is also developing antennas and other passive microwave components at the IHF.
